GÜD HOLIDAY CARD
GÜD HOLIDAY CARD
GÜD HOLIDAY CARD
The internal holiday card for Güd Marketing must always accomplish two tasks: 1) showcase the capabilities of the creative team and 2) spread holiday cheer in a way that aligns with Güd's mission to give back to the community. This holiday season, we sent out a shiny New Year's gift to our clients, vendors, community members, family and friends. Inside is a wish from the team at Güd Marketing as well as nine themed cards to inspire good deeds throughout the new year. The twist: ten randomly selected packages included one additional card, a golden ticket.

GOLDEN TICKET IDEA
Inspired by season 5, episode 19 of American television sitcom The Office and in-turn inspired by the story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, our take on this concept was to randomly place ten golden tickets in our holiday card deck. Recipients of golden tickets were given $100 to donate to one of eight selected non-profits in their name when they post a photo of themselves and their golden ticket on their Facebook page and tag Güd Marketing.
Five of our golden tickets were never claimed, so we held a Facebook poll to give away the remaining $500. The five nonprofits with the most votes received $100 each. Although, we were so overwhelmed by the thoughtful responses that we decided to give away an additional $100 to each of the remaining nonprofits. The more the merrier.
