FENNER MAPLE SYRUP FEST
FENNER MAPLE SYRUP FEST
FENNER MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL
Fenner Nature Center is an environmental education center encompassing 134 acres of publicly accessible green space in Lansing, Michigan. It is also home to hundreds of maple trees, and to celebrate the harvest of the trees' "liquid gold," Fenner hosts a maple syrup festival in March each year. Complete with pancakes and all the maple syrup you can buy, the maple syrup fest teaches about some of the tools and techniques that various cultures through history have used to harvest sap and convert it into maple syrup and sugar.
100% of the proceeds from this festival go to support the nonprofit that manages the nature center.

DESIGN CONCEPT
For Fenner's 2018 Maple Syrup Festival, I wanted to create visuals that were classic and undeniably maple syrup. The nostalgic tiny handles are signifying of genuine maple syrup, and with their recognizable shape, I created a pattern of minimal maple syrup bottles with warm, rich colors and textures.
